• The Northern Dive sites, consisting of Similan Islands number 8 and 9 make some of the best and most diverse of all the dive sites in the area. With huge boulder sites descending off into the depths like Christmas Point or the long wonderful drift dives done on Breakfast Bend you’ll find this to be among the best selections for a one day trip.

• The Southern sites are typified by larger boulder sites and less divers. These sites are less visited by Day trip boats. Currents can be pretty wicked at a few of these sites, which is also why many operators skip them.

• In the central part of the Simlan Islands are located some of the very best sites in Thailand. Even the names provoke dreams of paradise – East of Eden, Elephant Head Rock, Chinese wreck.Here you will find of the most diverse sites in all the Andaman Diving sites. 

Huge boulder sites with massive swim-throughs and big fish characterize sites like Elephant Head rock and Deep Six. The most famous of all the reef sites for the Similans, East of Eden is found here. But also the most unique of the sites – an intentionally sunk Chinese registered fishing boat. –
